Quality work, on time delivery, and innovation are what make Alliant standout from the crowd. Our Quality Management Plan (QMP) is a key factor in our success.

Our QMP is based on the philosophy that quality should be built in, controlled through systematic checking, and assured through audits and documentation. We build quality in by putting skilled people on the project, communicating project information, and coordinating activities. Checking is performed over the shoulder by Task Leads and in formal Quality Control (QC) checking, Discipline Coordination Reviews (DCR), and Constructability Reviews. Quality Assurance is performed by a qualified design professional assigned to independently verify compliance with the process. MnDOT reviews are intended, not as quality checks, but to verify consistency with district practices. Alliant does not rely on MnDOT reviews as quality checks for our deliverables.

Our process involves the following steps:

“Yes, I have been impressed by the QA/QC process that Alliant has used on a couple of my projects. Very nice checking procedure, resolution process, and forms to document everything.”

“Alliant continues to be the standard-bearer for high-quality construction plan sets, crafted by knowledgeable and detail-oriented staff.”

“My experience with Alliant was excelling. The plan was outstanding. It was a project that had the potential to be a big headache given the work type and traffic. The plan was probably the best I have ever seen and played a huge role in safe and successful job.”
