Alliant provided preliminary design, final design, and construction administration for this project that included roadway widening, signal system installation, and improvements to storm sewer facilities, pedestrian safety, and access management along Centerville Road in the City of White Bear Lake.
Alliant led the design coordination effort with adjacent property owners, Ramsey County, the City of White Bear Lake, White Bear Township, and MnDOT State Aid to prioritize improvement goals and identify cost sharing responsibilities. Construction administration, construction survey, construction inspection, utility coordination, coordination of material testing, communication and outreach to all project stakeholders was also performed by Alliant as well as ensuring construction compliance and documentation was completed in accordance with MnDOT State Aid requirements.
Under a separate contract, Alliant also provided land development and landscape architecture services for the development of the site adjacent to the intersection. This previously semi-undeveloped site includes retail and senior housing components as well as associated parking, circulation, and landscape design.
